Meet Avis
I am a Sisterlocks™ Practitioner/Trainee who was hesitant about getting locs for years. In fact, I felt there was no way that I could give up combing through my hair. After years of weaves, braids, sew-ins, and the list goes on, my edges had taken a tole. At my wits end, I decided to get Sisterlocks™. As it stands,I do not miss using a comb nor brush. I love my her hair so much that I felt the need to help and serve others who want to start and embrace their Sisterlocks™ journey. I completed my training in Milwaukee. My hair has been locked for almost one year. Oh did I tell you, I don't miss buying hair products that almost never worked.

Sistelocks TM Total Package
Offered as a 3-Visit Package
First Visit: Consultation
- Discuss your personal hair care history, lifestyle, and styling preferences in order to determine if Sisterlocks™ is right for you.
- Discuss how to maintain and care for your Sisterlocks™,
- Answer any questions you may have.
- Several sample locks will be placed in your hair.
- Advise you to wash it at least twice before your locking session, so that the correct lock size and pattern can be determined.
Second Visit: Locking Session
- Scheduled sessions are over a 2 to 4-day period
- I will provide free Wi-Fi and a comfortable atmosphere.
- At the end of this session you will be given a Starter Kit containing Sisterlocks™ starter shampoo, rubber bands, and a tip sheet on grooming and shampooing to encourage your locs to begin the locking process.
Please bring or wear the following items below to help make your appointment more comfortable:
- Wear comfortable clothing.
- Bring snacks, a good book, iPad or tablet, and lots of patience.
Third Visit: Follow-Up Session
- Scheduled within 4 weeks after the locking session, preferably 3 weeks after.
- Washed your hair at least twice prior to your next appointment
- Sisterlocks™ will examined & the integrity of your locs. Lock will be retightened if there is enough new growth (1st retighting - Price Included)
- discuss any questions or concerns and complete your first .
- An estimate as to how long it will take for your locks to settle in will be discussed.
Re-Tightening
- Once you have made the initial investment in getting Sisterlocks™ it is very important to protect your investment.
- Sisterlocks™ is LOW maintenance, not NO maintenance.
- It is imperative to the development of your newly-formed Sisterlocks™ to get regular retightening in order to incorporate the new growth and monitor the progress of your locks.
- Please note that there will be an extra charge when your retightening is overdue by 7 weeks or more.

For all Services: Please arrive timely with your hair freshly shampooed, dry, oil/ product free, and ready for service.
SISTERLOCKS™ CONSULTATION Price: $35 (non-refundable)
An initial consultation is required prior to all new establishments.
SISTERLOCKS™ TRANSFER CLIENT CONSULTATION Price: $25.00 (non-refundable)
All transfer clients are required to have a consultation.
SISTERLOCK ™️ ESTABLISHMENT Price: Determined at Consultation
Today is the day your SISTER LOCK IT journey begins! Please note the establishment of your Sisterlocks ™️ may occur over several days.
Please bring snacks, beverages, and your choice of entertainment.
When planned sessions are 7 hours or more, you can expect two 15-minute breaks and a 30-60 minute lunch break. Breaks will be decided by myself and the client for sessions 6 hours or less.
SISTERLOCKS™ 1st Follow-Up Appointment Price: Included
This service is included in the establishment price.
The follow-up appointment should occur no later than 3-4 weeks after your establishment.
RETIGHTENING - Starting Cost $125
Once you have made the initial investment in getting Sisterlocks™, it is very important to protect your investment. Sisterlocks™ is LOW maintenance, not NO maintenance.

CANCELLATION & LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
Late fee $20.00
Late fee assessed when you arrive 15 minutes or more late.
Each additional 15 minute interval you arrive late you will be accessed an additional $10 late fee.
